The story goes that when the Mayan people have worries, they tell them to the worry dolls. They put their dolls beneath their pillow and by the morning all their worries have gone away! This authentic gift, made by Guatemalan communities under fair trade conditions, includes one drawstring pouch and a collection of miniature worry dolls. Description

As the story goes, Mayan people tell their worries to their worry doll. They place the doll beneath their pillow, and when morning comes, the worry people has taken away all their worries.

The producer in Guatemala is a long established handicraft business that provides valued permanent employment. They also employ hundreds of homeworkers who work in their spare time to make the handicrafts as a useful addition to agricultural income. The business also supports several social projects.

Our importer is a BAFTS Member, a member of the British Association for Fair Trade Shops and Suppliers as a Fair Trade importer.
