By using Wildwood Cornwall Ltd online services, you are indicating that you have read these terms and conditions and our privacy policy and that you consent to be bound by the terms and conditions within this agreement. Please read these terms carefully and contact us if you have any queries before proceeding with any order or use of our service.
1. Descriptions and care of goods
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure that pictures and descriptions are up to date and accurate, please be aware that;
a) Many of our products are handmade in countries such as India, Nepal, Peru, Thailand, Ghana, Guatemala, Indonesia, Vietnam and Turkey using traditional techniques. This means that our products are liable to have the odd small imperfection unlike mass-produced factory-made items, and minor variations are inevitable. Please take this into consideration when purchasing our products.
b) Colours and fabrics displayed in pictures on our site may appear different to the actual colour depending on the media the customer uses to view the site; therefore, products may vary slightly from the pictures.
c) All our products, specifications, description, prices, availability and offers are subject to change, at any time, without notice.
d) Due to the traditional methods that our garments are made, by developing communities around the world, many of our clothing items do not follow standard western sizes, and require additional consideration with washing and handling. Please see our clothing section for more information when purchasing clothing.
2. Delivery
a) Our delivery and postage information can be found here. Although every effort is made to ensure orders are received as soon as possible, please be aware these timelines are provided as guidance only, and can be no guarantee that orders will be received within the specified timeframe. If however you have not received your item within 10 days, or require a faster delivery time, please contact us at info@wildwoodcornwall.co.uk.
b) We use a combination of third-party delivery methods to post your items, depending on the weight or product, including courier services and Royal Mail. They will receive your name and delivery address, and in some cases your email address for the purpose of delivering your item only. If you want more information on how your information is shared with third parties please see our privacy policy or contact us for more information.
3. Cancellation and Returns
a) Should you wish to cancel an order, please contact info@wildwoodcornwall.co.uk as soon as possible to identify if the item has been dispatched. If it hasn’t been sent to our courier, we can cancel your order and issue a refund. If the order has already been dispatched, please use our returns policy to post your item(s) back to us and we will issue a refund/replacement as necessary.
b) Should you wish to return an item, please see our returns policy for information on which items can be returned and how to generate a return and/or refund. Please familiarise yourself with this policy before making a purchase as some items are excluded from returns.
c) Purchases made over the Christmas period have an extended return period- please see the returns policy for more information.
4. Online orders
a) When you place an order with us, you are making a contract with us to buy goods. You will be taken to a secure payment checkout via PayPal. Please read PayPal’s terms and conditions for information on how your details are stored with them.
b) Although we strive to keep our product availability up to date, please recognise that the inclusion of any product or service advertised as being available on this site can, on rare occasions be inaccurate- in cases where a product is no longer available, we will refund you in full or offer store credit should you prefer.
c) All prices listed are GBP unless otherwise stated.
d) All prices listed are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
5. Gift Vouchers
a) Gift vouchers purchased online or in-store are valid for one year from date of purchase. Currently gift vouchers are available in hard copy form only, and can be posted to the recipient or collected in-store. Gift vouchers may be redeemed in store or online; to redeem vouchers in the online shop, simply contact us with your name and voucher number to receive your unique code to use at check-out.
6. Privacy Policy
a) To place orders with Wildwood Cornwall Ltd you will need to provide some personal details including name, address and email address. Please ensure you have read and understood our privacy policy before proceeding with an order.
b) By using the services of Wildwood Cornwall Ltd you agree that Wildwood Cornwall Ltd can use your details in-line with our privacy policy.
7. Fair trade
a) All items listed on Wildwood Cornwall Ltd as ‘Fair trade’ have been supplied to us under certified Fair-trade conditions, conforming to the 10 principles of Fair Trade. Often this means the supplier is part of, and accountable to BAFTS (British Association of Fair trade Shops and Suppliers) or the WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation).
